Coding Remote boot/trunk close on an f36

I've searched and searched but can't find it on the forum but does anyone know where I go looking for the one click boot/trunk close for an f36 in the e-sys software?

It doesn't appear in any of the cheat sheets I have.

Thanks in advance

HKFM 3010 SCH_FBD aktiv nicht_aktiv Button on key fob will be enabled to CLOSE the trunk
HKFM 3010 SCH_TOEHKI aktiv nicht_aktiv Button on driver-side will be enabled to CLOSE the trunk
HKFM 3010 TASTER_FBD aktiv nicht_aktiv Required for SCH_FBD and SCH_TOEHKI to work.

Thank you!

Just realised it is on the Rev 1.7 cheat sheet after all, would have missed it had you not posted though! Thanks again.

Bumping old thread but does anyone know the coding for 2017 F36 as above functions can't be found from HKFM2 even with the latest esys / psdzdata.

HKFM2 is used in '17 F15, G12, & G30 as well. You have to change rockerswitch of keyFOB button type. You also have more options, including eliminating delays, either one press or hold for each button, and auditory warnings.

Hi ... I'm very new to this but I am interested in coding my '17 430i Gran Coupe (f36) to open and close the trunk with key fob.
When I try to open HKFM2 I receive an error message. I have been successful in coding other modules but not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Can someone help?

What error message?
If it is a runtime error, you can use E-sys 3.27.1 or load NCD directly in FDL-Editor for E-sys 3.28.1.
If it is a "not found [C012]" error, you need to update PSdZData.

I'm sure all this will make much more sence when i get the software and cable, but these posts are making me wonder if i have bitten off more than i can chew. I have a 2017 latest build 435d Gran Coupe and all i want to do is code the remote and the interior switch to close the boot. I have the cable on order and will start my search for software and instructions at the weekend. I keep reading posts that say that the settings are different for the latest cars with the updated software.

EU cars, from factory, have ability to fold mirrors and close boot with remote.

Just take your time, follow the supplied PDFs and maybe watch a video or two. I coded both those on my car.

I have a late 2014 car so I realise there maybe differences and I have also read about people having issues with it but it should work.

Oops I should have given the error.. when I try to open the CAFF folder under HKFM2 , I get an error that says that cafd_00002098_004_011_010 cannot be found.

I am running E-Sys 3.28.1 and psdzdata 61.0
Was considering that it's a psdzdata problem but don't know how I might verify that another version would help, let alone be able to id which older version.

"not found [C012]" is a PSdZData issue. Usually it means you need to update; but, in this case, you need Psdzdata_v3.59.2.

For all NCD's in SVT, you need matching CAF (C:\Data\psdzdata\swe\cafd)
  • cafd_00002098.004_011_010.ncd = cafd_00002098.caf.004_011_010

Thank You!..that worked.
Not sure why mine is different than above..but I was able to get my remote to close my trunk by editing the
300B ...REMOTECONTROLLIFTGATEBUTTON...section...
I went to ...BUTTONTYPE..I changed the WERT to '05' from '02'

I didnt change the setting for the inside trunk 'rockerswitch' setting. It currently only opens. Mostly because I'm not clear as to where make the change yet.

There are position 1 and position 2 folders. One is set top open and the other to close.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Use the Launcher Cheat Codes.

I have a 2016 435i GC and I went to HKFM but my 3010 has just a "." or a period and nothing in the folders with those parameters. Can someone help me as I am trying to close the trunk with the FOB and the driver's side button.

Then you are selecting incorrect chassis in Launcher. Compare to NCD / CAFD tool and if not the same, your configuration is wrong.

I found every other options in the listing for the F36 coding list but did not find these things only within the HKFM. How is it also possible that I have the wrong vehicle but I am still able to code it? All of the other features work accordingly.

So would that mean I am looking for F020 for a F36 series in the FP list?
