3rd day of owning my F30 328. My thoughts.

So far I'd have to say that this is a fantastic car. Definitely the smoothest driving out of all the other 3 series I've had. It almost feels like I am driving a 5 or 7 series. It seems like BMW is going for a more luxurious ride with the F30 as opposed to sporty. Just my opinion.

The steering feels a little softer and not as tight. Takes some getting used to being that it's electronic..

Definitely the fastest 328i ever built. Does not feel like a 4 cylinder. Has very nice pull in both low and mid range. One thing I do miss about my 335 is the exhaust note. The 328 is way too quite. An oem performance exhaust will fix that tho.

The 8 sp automatic is great. The shifting is lightning fast. Almost don't miss 6 speed.

Brakes feel a little spongy. My 335 brakes felt a little more responsive..

Navigation.. Amazing. It's just like the one I had in my E90 but faster. I love how you can now play your itunes through the radio wireless. Very cool!

Color combo is sophisticated and classy.

So far I am happy..

Got the wrong transmission but the right engine! The F30, to me, would satisfy the craving I always had for an E39 -- but better in every way!

Orderd it in stick. Came in auto. Factory mess up. Took it anyway with 2 months payments free among license plate frames and mats thrown in

Oh I'm gonna be real pissed if this is the case with mine!

I know the dealer ordered an AT by mistake at first, but rectified this.

Thankfully the AT is pretty good this time around, is it the sport AT or regular?

I'd definitely ask for a hefty discount or waiver of many payments, or I'd make them give me 13 rates on a 14 build with the same numbers.

Glad you're liking the AT. I find the gear shift in Comfort mode not as pleasing as Sports . Sometimes it tends to be stuck in a higher gear. Just my 2c

I think it's regular. No paddles.

The car is meant to be driven in sport mode. Drives amazing and steering is tighter, more responsive

True. My friend who has a 8 cylinder pickup was amazed at how smooth she was at one-twenty!& my gal loves to floor it in the 3rd

Wait, what? LOL, r u kidding me? Glad that you're happy, but it's a noisy car and the interior screams cheapness. There's no way you can compare it with 5 or 7. The 7 is on a different planet, and the 5 on a different continent.

Interior screams cheapness? Are you sure we're talking about the same car. There is nothing cheap about the interior

It is cheap, when you compared it with a 7 Series. It isn't, when you compare it with a Civic.
