delay for emergency call

I used the emergency call button twice to report an accident (fortunately not involving me ).
In both cases it took serveral minutes before the call was established. I do not have the Assist plan so the car connects to 112 (US: 911).
While the connection is being established the current location is shown (very handy), but it .....changes. Once the call was establised the current location was show, not the location where I pressed the button.

Does it take long in your car as well?
