...what would it be?
Wondering for those who have taken delivery or already placed an order that cannot be changed are there any options/features that you wished you should have put on the car?

I'm preparing my new order soon and do not want any regrets so hoping you guys can help me make sure I make my order right!

Options/features I'm debating for a 335xi are HK sound, Drivers asst plus and 19" wheels.

So far, I'm set on Sportsline, tech package, drivers asst package, heated front seats...

Thanks!

I think the HK sound is the one that I'm on the fence about. I don't think its a must have but I don't want regrets after I order..

Drivers asst plus seems like an extra waste mainly in part because the lane departure feature only works IF the camera sees the lane mark and Chicago snow will effect that.

I will only order the 19" inch wheels if I can't sell the sportline wheels that I already bought for a winter switch

My only regret so far (I get the car next week) is not going for the 19" M Sport wheels. I am pretty sure I will be very happy with everything else I got and not miss the options I didn't get.

Are those the staggered wheels or square set? Did you consider them for the look or performance?

Dynamic Handling. We bought our car from dealer stock and thus didn't get every last option. Reasing up about it, this is the one option I would have added, given the choice to do so.

Can you explain the difference btw having dynamic handling and not having it? Noticeable differences to the average driver or for a performance driver

I'm ordering an M-sport, and checked nearly every option box except the 19" 403M wheels. I normally love the biggest OEM wheel offering for a given vehicle. For some reason, I can't convince myself to get the 19" wheels. For one, the 18" 400M look better (to me), and two - I have to believe the 19s are harsher, heavier, are worse for MPG, and more expensive when it comes to replacing tires.

The 18" M Sport appears smaller than the 18" Sport wheels to me (at least in pictures). But I DO like the way the 400M look and after seeing it in person I may not care at all. I have seen the 19" in person and they look really really nice. Also compared the tire prices and it wasn't much more at all.

Staggered, both the M Sport wheels are if you get Summer Tires... which is still up in the air as to what they actually put on my car. I should know soon. If they are all-season's I will raise hell lol.

I would have just wanted them for the look. The 19" just appear to fill the wheel well a little nicer. But I haven't seen the 18 in person yet so I may be perfectly happy once I do

I have seen the 18" 400M wheels in person, and they seem plenty big. The weight and the ride quality are the two biggest factors in me wanting to avoid the 19"s. Although if the 19"s looked just like the 400M style, I'd have to reconsider. The 403Ms just don't have enough of a concave look for me. Although they're not a bad looking wheel.

Two things I added to my order at the last minute were the Auto-high-beam, and window shades.

The only major thing I didn't get was Driver Assistance Plus. I would NEVER use the lane departure warning, and $900 just to read speed limit signs seems a bit excessive. I could pay for 4 speeding tickets with that money And I have avoided speeding tickets for 12+ years now

Good, I am being optimistic that I will love them when I see them

I was back and forth on the 400M vs. the 403M, and mind you I'm coming from the M3 19" 359M wheel. When I saw the 400M on a car at my local dealer, I was not disappointed at all. Sometimes pictures don't capture all proportions correctly.

My BIGGEST issue is not getting the M Sport Package!!!

When I ordered my vehicle, the M Sport Package wasn't an option. Now I'm thinking I should've just waited it out...

Other than that, no regrets at all! Got everything I need! Love my 335i...

I just got my 335 xdrive M sport 2 days ago, have had plenty of time to look at it and am glad I stuck with the 18" I love the look of the 400M (the 403M doesn't look bad, just liked the 400M better). The fill the wheel well just fine! they don't look small at all, in fact they look better than the 19" M Wheels on our X3 (that really needs 20"). I went with performance tires because I am getting snow tires and wheels for winter.

As far as other options, I am in the car for 1 1/2 hours a day and only listen to music (no talk radio) so premium sound was a must and a no brainer to me, cost is very minimal for improved quality you get.

I went with parking sensors only and sort of regret that, our X3 has the cameras (came with its tech package) and I get spoiled by them, its nice backing out and not pulling an Exorcist move to make sure its all clear and it makes parking easier (side cameras/top view). But that would have put my total right at $60K which was not a number I wanted to see.

features I am very happy with that I was on the fence with:
-tech package with head up display, vs just navigation, love the head up display, especially in bad conditions, drove it home from the dealer in a semi-heavy rain, was so nice to see the speed and navigation right in front of me so I never had to look away from the road (pouring rain and dark, little visibility). I am guessing it will work nice when its snowing too.
-rear/side shades, if you have kids don't even think twice about it, just get it, they will thank you!
-sport shifter, expensive but it looks so much nicer, especially if you are going with Sport line or M Sport.

I actually spent a little more than I was planning on because it was a lease, the way I look at it, 80% of options are 100% out of pocket expenses that you will NOT get back when you trade it in. You might get a little extra for having Nav, premium sound, heated leather seats, and thats about it. Stuff like the HUD, sun shades, parking sensors, and sport transmission aren't going to bring anything extra at trade in time but when leasing you only pay for 40% of it. So a $500 option like the sport transmission only will cost me ~$200.

+1 18s may not have the look of 19s, but they will offer better performance

19" M-sport wheels and the Dynamic Driving package if the VSS is really as good as people say.

M-performance exhaust...wish the car had some more noise. I had planned on impulse buying it but my dealer didn't get back to me so I decided to pass.
