Plasti Dip?
Hello guys, I'm new to the bmw world. Has anyone ever Plasti dipped their wheels and window trim? Looking to do my trim and wheels on my 2016 428i

I hate the rubbery feeling of plastidip... try to find wither a dark set of wheels OEM or not. And if you don't want the Chrome? trim, either buy the OEM dark trim or have it professionally wrapped. This is just my .02 cents Cheers! Post pics! |

In my experience it's very hard to plasti-dip something and have it NOT look like cheap spray paint. I have never used it myself but as my job is a car buyer I have seen a LOT of cars where the previous owner dipped stuff and it looks terrible. It looks fine in pictures but up close....no.
I have seen it look ok as well, but never better than just "ok". If you want to do wheels just have them professionally power coated or painted. The result is miles better. Just my opinion of course. |

Plastidip is temporary and cost effective. I have plastidip wheels only and I love it compared to before. Try it and if you don't like it, rip it off and your loss was very minimal compared to thousand(s)
If done right it will look clean and last a long time. |
