thing is, you pay premium for being one of the first people to have new design/model... if economy is decent they won't budge on the price much since if you don't buy someone else will, they don't need to discount it... same thing was when I got my e92 coupe (one of the first in Canada) back in a day, it was in high demand and it was pretty hard to get decent discount... you can wait a year and probably get a lot better discount, but it's up to you if it's worth waiting

I can see little to no discount if someone is buying an extremely low volume & rare car, like a Porsche 911 GT3.
Come to Toronto and you should be able to get one @ 4/5% off. |

Contacted few more dealers and they won't budge more than $500.

If so, then the price you are paying is much closer to an Audi RS5, at least you get a 400+hp car for that kind of $.
That's crazy $ for a 435xdrive Msport. |

that's how it goes with a brand new model, you always pay premium to ride in a car that not many people have... I guarantee you most allocation slots are sold out as well, you'll probably be waiting longer to take delivery... but I do agree $500 discount is a little low, go into the dealership and tell sales guy $2k discount and I will sign papers right now, you'll probably settle on $1500 off

wait till year end like December ish. Sales will be super slow and the car by then has been out for a few months. Then try to get 7% off MSRP
