I know the rear physically will not fit due to a completely different design

You can weld the coilovers to the top hats and wheel knuckle to make it work.

Technically yes and no. Most E90 coil over kits will have a perch of some kind that will fit in the rear. I tried it out on a H&R coil over set.

Rear:
The 60mm Spring and perch fit with some help. The strut wont, its a completely different design. The perch went through the lower arm. You would need to ditch the plastic piece that goes around the arm or cut a hole in it.

Front:
The strut bottom attachment to the Hub is too thin. It will fit inside the hub but move around and have no way to be tightened. You need an adapter like KW sells ( the gold one). If you get that you will need to shave it down as adding it will make the strut too big to fit. you will also need to run an aftermarket top hat as the stock one has too small of a hole to fit and the E90 spring from H&R kit has a smaller diameter than the F30 top hat.

Conclusion:
you can technically do it if you want to hack up the kit and spend some money buying small parts. Although I would honestly just sell the kit and use it to purchase a F30 specific kit.
