!!! mpe exhaust install. third party clamp

i tried searching nothing found

i have the mpe for my f36 i got form a previous owner but i dont have the exhaust clamp (18307560815) is it fine if i use a clamp the muffler shops carry? or do u recommend the oem one

Any clamp will work. There is nothing special about the BMW one, though I did get it and paid way too much.

ECS tuning should have it...

It would be better to stay with OEM clamp not after market version. Just received my MPE and have a schedule with my dealer to have it install next week can't wait.

It literally took me 25 minutes to install by myself with rhino ramps. I hope they're not changing you more then $50 for such an easy install.

Some people just don't have the tools, the time or the the desire to get dirty.

It's not my $$$. I'd be interested to see the dealers bill though.

Preliminary estimated is $250 for the installation of MPE.

I guess but that's the fun about modding a car, doing it yourself. Plus, when I DIY I know it's done right.
