F30 - 328i Opinion/Experience on Tire Size
Guys - I need help.
I have a 2015 328i xDrive - I live in Boston where the roads are garbage. Just ordered a new set of staggered wheels - VMR 710 18x8.5 et35 front - 18x9.5 et45 rear. Recommended tire sizes are 225/45/18 and 255/40/18 - This is a rolling diameter of 26" all around, where stock 25.9". I'm seriously considering going with 235/45/18 and 265/40/18 for less tire stretch and theoretically better protection of the wheel lip. I also just think it would look better. Rolling diameter of 26.3". Has any body run both/either of the setups and have any experience to share? |
