18x8 Sport Edition KM11 with 225/45-18 Falken Eurowinter HS449. Lowered on H&R Sport springs. I like the setup with the BMW Performance LSD.

The Michelin's had better scores than the Blizzaks for dry driving conditions while still performing very well in light and deep snow. Here in Denver, it often snows hard, but by the time you're heading home from work, the roads are clear and dry.

With TPMS sensors and valve stems, it came to around $2,000.

Now does anyone have a good recommendation for BMW Center Caps that will fit these wheels?

What color is your car?

335i X-drive, M-sport, gray brakes, 17" winter wheels.
Is it a "rule" that the gray brakes equal smaller brakes that can accommodate 17" wheels?

Nope. See:
https://www.turnermotorsport.com/t-b...ke-Differences

There are grey/unpainted brembos of the same size as the blue/red/white brembos, but they're rare.

try to avoid anything low profile for winter tires. 50+ sidewall is best.

Yep, can't go below 18" wheels over those brakes, and the 'correct' size on F30 if you get 18x8 is 225/45R18.

right.. forgot about that.

would 17's fit? or is 18 basically the smallest size that will fit with M brakes?

would 18/50 tires look silly on an f30?

It's not about looking silly, but if you have a taller sidewall than 225/45 on 18s, you're going to #1: have an incorrect speedometer reading, and #2: possibly have clearance issues with the fender. (Unsure an extra 11mm would do that, but I wouldn't want to deal with #1), and #3: you'd be raising the car an extra 11mm (for 225/50, compared to 225/45)

Here’s mine - snow tyres on and running 18” rather than my usual 19” summer wheels.

Not the best picture of the wheels, but 18x8 ET30 Rial X10's. Tires are Pirelli Sottozero 3's in 225/45/18.

I have a 2016 F31 with track handling package (m performance brakes) and want to run 17” winter wheels

What specific wheel specs (offset, etc) do I need ?
I’ve been shopping around but worried the wrong size won’t fit over the brakes

As an FYI. My F32, a couple posts up is also equipped with the track handling package and after market 18" wheels.

Snow performance is better with more narrow tires. What size wheels are coming from the 535? Bolt patterns on the wheels and offsets of the wheels would also need to be considered.
