no issues @ BMW mississauga - picked up my 335i last month. I think depends who are you dealing with and how you deal with them too. I've heard bad stories at all the locations. The deal I got @ Mississauga - folks at Budds were not ready to match so in the end wherever you get the best deal go with it and more over get the Bimmer and start enjoying your ride!

Yeah, the price climbs more rapidly than you would think when you start adding options. Once I sat down and started ticking boxes I quickly decided some of the options weren't worth it for me, e.g. Park Assist, Driver Assist package, etc.

I am currently waiting on a Mineral Grey 335i Sport Line, ZWP, HUD, PDC front/rear, heated rear seats, 6NL, apps.

I was in the showroom only a couple of weeks after the global launch so there wasn't a lot of information available, and as this is my first BMW I didn't feel like I had a lot of leverage. Suffice it to say I did get a small discount, nowhere near the 5% that I saw someone saying they were planning on getting, but I'm satisfied nonetheless.

I did try and get some freebies thrown in, but it was so early that they didn't have any information about the all-season mats or other accessories.

I think the invoice price is as follows: (correct me if I'm wrong)

335i $47,105
328i $40,110
320i $33,030

Actually I'm going with Owner's Choice financing for 48 months. I'm keeping the monthly payments workable via a large down payment.

I've always owned my cars and I had my last one for 8 years, so the price worked out well for me when amortized over time. I don't know if that will be the same story this time around too, but I'm comfortable with the decision either way.

Sport Suspension?

A question for you Canadian F30 buyers: Is Sport Suspension standard, available as an option or not available at all for the 328i or 335i?

I can't find any mention of sport suspension on the bmw.ca 'Build Your Own' tool or on the Canadian 2012 3 Series Ordering Guide (http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=622091).

Similiarly, I see no reference at all to the Adaptive M Suspension.

The sport suspension is an additional add on and requires Sportline. It's an additional $400. At least that's my understanding.

Correct... frustrating though that it wasn't available when I ordered. I might have to get an M-Sport retrofit when it's available..

So even if I get the sport line, I don't get the sport suspension???

After paying $1500 for the sport line, I still need to pay another $400 for the sport suspension???

I thought it was included in the sport line???

Yup!

With owners choice, you're easily over $1000 a month!

That's a lot considering you still have to pay for your insurance...

By the way, how much is your insurance?

Once I get my F30, will my insurance increase, stay the same or decrease? Anyone know???

Well I plan on putting enough down to soften the monthly payment to my taste.

Insurance depends on too many factors to predict, but in my case I have a quote that's lower than what I was paying previously. I recommend shopping around.

Could go up? Might go down... depends on you, your current car, where you live, your driving history, etc etc.... impossible for anyone here to tell. Call your insurance company and ask..

Well my question was if ALL those factors stay the same, does a new car affect our insurance?

I probably say no?

I don't think anyone is going to be able to answer that accurately except for your insurance agent. If it helps, most of my quotes were higher than what I'm paying now. One quote was lower, possibly because my work has a group rate with them. That's something you might want to look at.

My rep told me that if i go from Luxary to Sport option($1500 more) i will get interior color options; different rims; different front bumper trim; sport seats; sports steering wheel AND Sport Suspension.

Well, your rep is wrong. It's been covered several times. Sport Susepension is not included on the Sportline in Canada.. It's a $400 upgrade.

Unless of course he is throwing it in for you.

A lot of the reps are confused because of the difference between US and Canada, and the f'd up ordering process.

BTW, if your rep is charging you $1500 above Luxury to get into a Sportline, then he is ripping you off. All the "lines" in Canada start out at the same price.

EDIT: I stand corrected, it is 1500, but only for the 328i. They are all the same price for the 335i. According to the pricing guide here: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showpo...6&postcount=49
It still however, doesn't include sport suspension.

U were right... my rep must be confused; i swear she said it includes sport suspension; she even showed me the brochure (probably US). Oh well its too late now, my 328i will be in production soon. But i will have a word with her....grrrrrr....
