BMW floor mats question

I was at Canadian tire trying to find all season floor mats and I really liked these Michelin mats only to find out from the sales guy that none of the mats they have will fit a BMW. He said this without knowing that I actually drive one (http://www.costco.com/Michelin-Heavy...100036016.html).

Is this true? Is my only options to go and buy the $100+ floor mats (which I must say look great).

I had my sales guy throw the mats in. It originally just came with the velour ones.

The thing I like about them is that it has velcro beneath it and sticks to the car, and doesn't slide around.

If I were to buy mats, I'd probably go with the weather tech

+1 for the authentic BMW ones or Weathertechs. You might be able to use those Michelins if you modify them.

I went for the BMW-branded (actually xDrive-branded) WeatherTech mats. No red highlight though, but I don't really mind...

Hmm looks great. Do you have a part number for those?
My dealer said they were not in the system (and to be fair, even the accessories guide said they were going to be released in December).

Thanks a lot!

Not sure if they are different for the 4 series. Parts numbers for my mats (fits both sedans and wagons ) Front 51-47-2-219-800 and rear 51-47-2-219-803.
Keep in mind that you can get them in basic, modern or sport trim all with different part numbers, mine are the sport. No m-sport version for now.

Thanks. I must admit at first glance I thought it was a 4 series despite your username haha.

I believe the front should be the same but the back will definitely be different. Have not seen anything to suggest an msport version of the mats - which I guess would have blue trim - but I've got the same colour config as you so the red trim will do very nicely.

Thanks for the info and enjoy your new ride!

Just picked up the BMW mats

The BMW mats look amazing. Cost me $150 and change (tax included). The Mississauga BMW does not have it but you can ask them to order it for you. I got mine from the downtown showroom.

Sorry for the crappy picture.

Do you guys find them slippery? I've slipped trying to get out of car cause there is no grip of any kind on those mats. Then again the shoes I wear when I drive have to grips either, lol.

Yah. I share your feelings. I'm hoping they get better with time.
