I'm 18, just traded in my E90 and am happily making payments on my new F30 328i XDrive with Premium, Nav, Apps, and Cold Weather.

39 here but not for long
This is my 40th Bday gift to myself. Always drove Chevy's and had a Subaru Legacy between the Chevy and BMW. Think I goof'd because I don't see myself going to anything else but BMW from here on out. LOL |

Got my first 3 series at 25 when I was making $350k, now 28 and making $250k due to career change but still decided to spend a bit more and upgrade to the 5 series. I wouldn't say BMW's avg age and salary is off, it's just that the forum audience consists of enthusiasts who tend to spend a larger % of their income on cars and like to get into nicer cars at a younger age. Outside of enthusiast forums, the vast majority of 20 something year-olds do now drive luxury vehicles.

45 here (yes I know, what am I doing on this forum??? I guess it is because we just got internet at the assisted living facility...).
More seriously I drove slow and boring Euro-cars from 18 to 36 year old (Opel Kadett, VW Vento then Passat, Citroen Picasso, Renault Espace...and finally a BMW 120d) and, moving to the U.S. got me into things more exciting: Audi S4, Cayman R, Porsche 911, Porsche 997 GT3, Porsche 991 C2S assorted with a few other vehicles for the track, the kids or daily driving: Porsche 996-track conversion-, base Miata, Stage 2+ tuned mkvi VW GTI, E36 M3 -track conversion- and now E46 M3. 1 kid in college and another one just one year behind + desire to move or try a different type of job led me to jump from my 911 into an F30. Less money tied up, no track days for now,... I'll re-evaluate my options at some point. I definitely plan to get another P-car but for now, the F30 keeps me very happy. It is quick and comfortable and I continue to enjoy spirited driving sessions on Sunday mornings. Maybe a track day here and then.

I'm 33 and just got my first F30. Words can't describe what's it's like to own and drive it. Now.... If only the prices in Australia were similar to what you guys have in the US.
