I feel like it might be too stiff for au roads to go above the m sport suspension but I have never experienced it.M sport is fine for me and i prefer it to to the standard stock suspension which is very floaty although comfy at the same time. We have 2 328is in house 2012 sportline and 2014 M sport and I am basing my observations from those 2.

I have M-Sport Adaptive on my F30 335i. I leave it in comfort on Sydney roads, not because its too stiff, but because the car struggles to get the power down under more than half acceleration on an even slightly lumpy road.

Driving around the suburbs comfort is fine, it's still stiff, but the adaptive dampers means it's already a well controlled car.

On Sport or Sport+ with more than half throttle the car is skipping everywhere on the stock tyres. I think this is more combination of lack of LSD and run flat tyres than a suspension issue.

I would definitely buy the M Adaptive again.

I drove a non-adaptive M-Sport demonstrator overnight and it was pretty much a perfect mid point but lacking the adaptive.
