iPhone 6 Plus on NBT iDrive

Did a test on the iDrive with the iPhone 6 Plus. Seems to be all compatible with BMW apps, messages, voice command, Bluetooth audio & Bluetooth telephone still work.

Slightly tighter fit in the compartment due to it's larger form factor. Looks like BMW needs to release a new snap in adapter for the 6 Plus.

Hey Jeff, on your retrofitted NBT does pressing the voice button on the steering wheel bring up Siri?

Unfortunately, No. Pressing the Voice button brings up BMW Voice Command. If I hold the home button physically on the phone, Siri is routed through as a call but function naturally.

How about push and hold on the voice button?

Apparently.. "Siri "Eyes Free" can be coded if you have NBT and not CIC. F30 2012+. There may be other minimum requirements that I'm not aware of. Check with BimmerTech."

It's my understanding this is only applicable to the new NBT not the old one. That is, with the touch controller.
