iPhone 6 Plus on NBT iDrive
Did a test on the iDrive with the iPhone 6 Plus. Seems to be all compatible with BMW apps, messages, voice command, Bluetooth audio & Bluetooth telephone still work.
Slightly tighter fit in the compartment due to it's larger form factor. Looks like BMW needs to release a new snap in adapter for the 6 Plus. Last edited by knightsabers; 09-23-2014 at 10:21 AM.. |

Unfortunately, No. Pressing the Voice button brings up BMW Voice Command. If I hold the home button physically on the phone, Siri is routed through as a call but function naturally.

How about push and hold on the voice button?
Apparently.. "Siri "Eyes Free" can be coded if you have NBT and not CIC. F30 2012+. There may be other minimum requirements that I'm not aware of. Check with BimmerTech." http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=759979 |
