"Superman" F30s - Estoril Blue over Coral Red

I really like the look of the "Superman" F30s - Estoril Blue over Coral Red and am considering ordering a new 335i with that combo. Has anyone with this combo seen any drawbacks - aside from the people that personally don't care for the combination?

PS - If anyone who has a 335i in this combination is looking to sell this year please PM me!

there are no drawbacks...except maybe the red might be too much on the eyes sometimes. other than that its a great and unique combo. i wish i ordered mine like that

Just picked her up last week from the Performance Center.... Absolutely stunning color combo, have been receiving nothing but complements, smiles, looks and thumbs up from everywhere I go all week!

I have this combination and haven't got any issues with it all. I chose it because it's a bit different to the norm and whilst I acknowledge it may not be for everyone, I am very glad I chose it.

It is absolutely gorgeous, but I'll be honest, I don't know if I could live with the color combo on a daily basis.

It looks different, that's for sure. I really like Coral Red and EBII, but I don't know if I could live with a bright interior and exterior. I chose Dakota Black to go with my EBII exterior, but my second choice was CR with Mineral Grey.

Don't do it.

You're taking the most risky exterior color and the most risky interior color and mixing them together. It looks strange to begin with and you'll get buyers remorse within a year, either tired of the exterior or the interior.

Pick one of the colors and mate it with something more subtle.

I'm going to politely disagree here... The red really isn't as bright as it may seem... In fact, my family and friends all thought I was crazy until they saw it in person and fell in love. My father now wants a 535i in November when his E class is up, and wants it with coral red interior.

Then again, I'm 22.... So this is a young guys car, I think it would be a lot tougher for anyone else that may be older to pull off this color combo. I was just tired seeing the everyday black interior and what have you, I say, you only live once. So Do something exciting!

I personally hate red interiors. But I will chime in anyways. I think it looks terrible, especially on EBII...

Hey I resemble that remark! Ha. Ha. Seriously I'm well over 22... Even 42! Still debating Alpine White or EB II, but will def be getting Coral Red. I'm not in love w/ but to me black is boring; beige is well beige; I fear oyster cannot be kept clean in a vert. That leaves Coral Red. I disagree it's exclusively a young guys color scheme, it's all in ones persona. Just the same I wouldn't take clients out in EB/Coral.

What is risky about blue? It's pretty much in the middle rank of resale value colors. Orange or yellow is risky. Blue is actually just above red. EB II is one of the few not boring shades for the 4 that BMW offers.

I have the coral red interior, and it is awesome, and does not get old to look at/own. I also contemplated getting the EBII/CR and AW/CR combo, but in the end, decided to go MG/CR and happy I did. But again, it's personal preference, all three are great color combos and are "unique/different," making them that much more special.

Good luck with your choice!

EBII on Black is allowed.

Coral on Mineral Grey is allowed.

Bingo.

Coral Red is a great interior, it's just the EBII that's awful, especially with it.

Mineral Grey on Coral Red is perfecto. My 4 'Vert will be likewise.

I ordered my 335i in the superman combo. It's definitely a combo better suited for the younger crowd (I'm 20 myself and absolutely love it) and I'd think it's much too loud for a grown man to drive around in and still appear professional/mature. It's got some personality to it for sure, and it stands out in the sea of bland white/black/silver BMW's.

Blue exterior and red interior don't compute. I hate that combo.

Not yet, no. What does that have to do with what color combo I'm considering for my F33 next year? Or even what I like? I mean I don't have any plans on buying an M4 but I can still drool more over certain combos than others, no?

Look I don't know what bit you so hard that you respond as you do but I'm a big fan of individualism. Some guys can pull off bow ties, others can't. Some can wear plaid jackets others look like clowns. But I don't judge a person by what they wear or drive or any other personal choice. A guy could drive a black on black F32 but that doesn't make him a man.

Yes, I like blue. Even after a bad day coming to my Le Mans Blue E93 puts a smile on my face. If gray does that for you fantastic. For me it's a gloomy, depressing, repressed color esp. in the depths of winter with old snow piles matching its hue. That's how individualism works though. I'm glad because how boring to see everyone driving the exact same combo.
