For the first time in my ownership 8 months my Bluetooth would not connect this evening. I have unpaired the phone and paired it again and after a minute it looses the connection and wont reconnect and keep the connection stable.

Any ideas on how this can re resolved? I have tried a reset by holding the volume button in with no positive change after. I have also tried a friends phone and its the same issue with his.

It seems to connect after some attempts but then keeps saying please wait on the menus and then connection is lost again?

car is 2012 with the professional media navigation and up until this evening never experienced an issue with the media player.
