BMW Individual F30 3 Series in Austin Yellow and Yas Marina Blue

Here we are on the M3/M4 forums lamenting the fact that YMB is the blue chosen for the M car as a standard colour because it is too light, smurf blue, etc. And here people are shelling out big bucks to get this as an individual colour.

Certainly, BMW needs a bigger colour palette across their entire range of cars. I am NEVER going to pay extra for a paint colour. I will pay extra for extended leather or a performance enhancement.

your only choice will be white and black. We used to have red, but it's metallic now (extra $)

You could always get any color you wanted through Individual.

Thought these were only M3/M4 colors. Even if an individual order. Takes away from the M's. Glad I don't like either color. Most do or they would not have the color. I would rather have a darker color blue.

It's a piss take. They are probably sitting in the boardroom laughing at how stupid their customers are. They probably took bets on how many morons they could get to order their M3/4 in baby powder blue.

I think only an idiot would special order these when they could have any BMW color for the same price. They could have ordered truly great colors like Laguna Seca Blue, Monte Carlo Blue, San Marino Blue, or Estoril Blue. But instead they chose this.

One of the main reasons I would choose a polorizing color like Austin yellow is because it's exclusive to an M. I really don't want to see it on a standard F30. But, anything can be done for a price. I doubt very many people pay the extra $5000 to do it, although I've seen a fire orange F30 335i at my local dealer so I shouldn't be surprised by these two cars.

I'm thinking of sakhir orange for my next F31, my sales advisor has already spoken with BMW and the answer was "No problem"- At a cost of course.
Why wouldn't they make all ///M colours available to all costumers(individual orders...)? Seems to me like an excellent way to get some extra cash

On topic - the extra mods on that YMB 320 looks horrible
