Fairly straight forward install. Just get a extra pair of hands to help you hold it in place while you screw it in.

Finished the side rocker panels today...pretty straight forward. It's a nice subtle addition that matches the splitter by keeping the black line going around the car. I'm really impressed with the amount of rivets (17) on each side, plus the double sided tape included. Seems very sturdy.

I know that on the instruction they require to have holes drilled on the side extensions, but what about the M Sport rocker panel?
Did you have to drill thru those as well ??

That's what's stopping me from purchasing the extensions...

i got them from get.bmw.parts. dot com. Yes, you have to put 17 6mm holes into the bottom of the rocker panel on each side for the plastic rivets, then you have to screw 11 screws into the inside of the rocker panel. but, if you ever had to take it off, the holes would be out of view. It is very sturdy and they give you adhesive promoter for the double sided tape. Ill post pics tomorrow. Another advantage is that i can see where rocks were starting to hit the underside of my m sport rocker panel, from being kicked up by the front tires. This rocker panel extension protects the whole underside of the rocker panel.

those that are curious

Just in case you're curious how the rocker panel extensions look without the vinyl. I wanted to continue the lip line around....

You got the sides done too. Nice!
Is your car lowered? Doesnt seem like it is.
Also the velgen, are they 19 or 20? If they are 19s, tire specs?
After i get my front and sides done, i want the same wheels in 19s.
Dont know how the car would look without the drop.
Eventually will get m perf suspension.

Edit: never mind on the wheel size. Found your thread on the tireguy worrying you.
