If they perfected the heating system years ago, then why are the leather seats and steering wheel freezing cold for the first 10 minutes? They didn't, hence, heated seats and steering wheel were invented.
LOL, in Boston are you? 10 mins gasp. Last I checked, when it's 85+ outside and sunny, you can run the A/C for an hour and you still sweat in the leather seats!

As for the gym, I enjoy leaving the windows OPEN for the cool air after a good workout.

Guess we live in different worlds, even though we share the same space

Thought of something else

Instead of the silly fake HP/Torque sport display, have a menu where we can select digital gauges that are important - like

Oil temp
Boost pressure
Exhaust gas temp

Ooooh, that's a nice one. Like the GT-R. I'd like boost, oil pressure, oil temp and water temp.

And lap/split times.

I think the M performance steering gives you some of those.

It has some (yes water, oil temp - no Boost, EGT)

This gauge is pretty trick and has all that stuff, plus a few headers for new sensors http://www.p3cars.com/catalog/f30/

But the point is all that data is readily available to the car already - all they had to do is code it into the CIC. It would have taken literally less than a day to do, figure they're holding back for the M cars

BMW: When this comes out on the F80, I'll take my payment for the idea in the form of a new M3

Two things I'd like to have:

1. Ventilated seats
2. Remote start

In Florida these are nearly "must have" features.

I ordered every possible option on my car, save for Parking Assist (never parallel park here, and the cameras would help just fine), so I don't mind paying $$$ for options. The one thing I really would like is cooled seats.
