Oem wheel construction

I tried searching for an answer but no luck. Simple question how are OEM wheels constructed? Forged, cast, other?

Thanks

Almost all OEM wheels are casted except for some M wheels, for example style 343 for M5/M6 and 437 for M3/M4, which are forged.

Thank you. I'm considering aftermarket wheels but there are a lot of choices of construction. Therefore forged / flow formed are likely higher strength.
