Can anyone shed some light on the standard headlights on the 340i? Thinking about ordering one in a couple months to replace my 335is at lease end. I know the standard lights aren't adaptive, but are they still LED headlights? Or xenon with LED DRLs like my iS?

They are FULL LED standard, just not adaptive.

That's because it's a F32... Only F30 (sedan) and F31 (wagon) received the updated LED headlight for MY2016 and is therefore no longer available with Xenons. All other body styles are still available with Xenon units until MY2017 I guess.

Just to wrap this thread up, I was forced into getting a 340i since it came with LED 's standard. The price difference of a 328i and equally optioned 340i was a couple grand apart, made no sense to get the 328i.
This narrowed down my options to 320i , 428i, 340i. 320i not enough power, out. 428i was ~$5-6k less in MSRP but leased for about the same actual $ due to residuals/incentives etc, so I went with a 340i. It's currently in production, with an estimated completion date of Jan 11th. |

I went through the same thing with my wife's car. In my case though, I am pretty sure I was just justifying it to myself since I knew I would have drive it sometimes.
