It will likely take less than 10 minutes. I don't think it's worth the bandwidth on YouTube to upload an instructional video about it.

it takes 10 minutes a mechanic would probably charge you for 30 mins. thats about 40-50$

It's also likely that a mechanic would take advantage of someone coming in to install something so simple.

Click the yellow install guide. It's pretty descriptive.

Just did my install on my f30 and the only part I struggled on was figuring out how the metal intake filter clip/mount went on. It was partly because I did it at night in a poor lit garage. But over all install took 20-30mins by myself. Followed the instructions on the BMS website.

Oh and use vice grips to pinch the air recirculation tube out, unless you got a beast mode grip! lol

Sound is very subtle, I can really only hear it when I'm in Sport mode.

You completely stock otherwise? Curious if you get any CELs or rough idles. Keep us posted!

Its a pretty easy install. Definitely a DIY. We've sold a bunch and not one customer has complained about a difficult install.

I did my intake as my first engine mod - everything else completely stock. No CEL.

It's easy and I'm no mechanical expert. Took about 15 mins taking my time. It's easier than the Stage 2 intall.

you guys were right it took about 10 min tops. Realllllyyy sounded good in the garage with the hood open though ha. But yea nothing crazy. Light to light it sounds ok but pretty much can only be heard when you rev 4000 rpm or higher . For some crazy reason idk maybe its just mental i felt that i was reaching higher speeds a little easier/faster. I usually don't go fast but afterwards I caught myself going from 80 to looking down and realizing I'm at 110-120. Anyways I'm just prepping the car for when Dinan releases there tune in may/june.

I installed mine a little while back and it ran pretty well for a while (no CEL either) but a couple weeks down the road I started to experience rough idle (still no CEL) during cold starts. It gets pretty rough. The first time it happened I was driving off and the gas cut in and out with the roughness. It only takes a few seconds to get past it and then it doesn't happen again until another cold start. A little annoying but nothing to be too concerned about...I hope..!

Overall I really like it, though! The sound improvement is amazing. Not so sure about speed improvements or throttle response. It may even be a little slower lol I'm wondering if the Texan heat has something to do with that, though. The DYNO's were performed at boost levels greater than stock (I think) and with an open hood, which I believe may be a factor to investigate. But then again I don't know what I'm talking about!
