Does anyone know if the xDrive and M-Sport models are being sold as 2013 model year?

Seems that with a July production, there will be a VERY short run as a 2012 model year before the model is switched over to a 2013 model year.

+1 Makes sense since they will also likely make other minor productions changes, so makes sens to differentiate this changeover.

When can I get a good deal on 2013 models?

I want to buy 2013 328i sports/335i Luxury model.

Can I get any benefit on the price for 2013 3-series if I wait for sometime as orders for 2014 models will start from July?

Thanks.

If you are custom ordering, I would order now. In fact, dealer allocation for 2013's might already be dried up depending on where you are shopping. You might be limited to inventory they already have on the lot.

2014's aren't necessarily more expensive, but you can bet you will face a premium price during initial production (July, August, ect.) as other buyers are waiting and have been willing to pay a little bit more to secure their vehicle. Plus there were marginal price increases to the 328 and 335.

So you will probably be able to take advantage of "unofficial clearance" incentives if you buy a 2013 today, not to mention save a little bit by avoiding the 2014 price increases.

PLease dont put 6k towards cap cost reduction. If anything use MSD's

Thanks Justinnum1.
Are there anything else I can bargain on when leasing the car?

(like miles/year, etc)

MSDs is not helping

I was told by the dealer that they cannot get 539/month without 6K down payment. Because max. MSD allowed is only 7*539.

Am I missing anything?

The "issue" is many on this site think of putting large sum of money on a down payment on a lease a mortal sin/crime/Stupid. In the end you have to decide what is right for you.
