Couldn't believe it either when it was happening for the first time, and second time, and sixth time. The elevation drop at those speeds is like a small roller coaster ride

Shows how well they can actually drive, as well as how high the performance limits of these cars are.

i am imagining that the 328 is more nimble around the corners; point and shoot type of steering. Which what I like, but you can't beat the 335 power.
Thanks for sharing the video.

Seemed to be revving that 355 upto 7k more than an untuned 335 would normally be worthwhile doing

But one thing, the display on the 328i is different than the one on the 335i. The 328i seems like it has a border around it and the 335i seems like it look like an iPad.
the 335 had the technology package which includes nav and the bigger screen, the 328 had regular 6.5" display
Awesome, thanks for clarifying.

anyway does anyone know if the cars they drove were using the adaptive steering? adaptive suspension or passive? (we know its sport suspension cause of the sport line but ...)
Well in the 328i Joey was very talkative... nice!

But in the 335i, either Bill is of the type less communicative
or the car is a bit more of a handful and requires more focus out of the driver...

so which is it? Jason, which would you pick? indifferent of the price or the fuel efficiency?

Joey was just more talkative of the two. Either of these guys could have eaten an ice cream cone while driving

That would have to be the 335i. 328i is the better value, but without consideration of costs or anything else, the 335i is still the better performer. Full review coming up tomorrow.

Hmm. I watched both videos and I don't see him going into the corkscrew at 100. Top of the tach is 80mph and he seems to be going in around 70 or so. Am I seeing things wrong?

Had no doubt about Bill's skills, but for the less able among us... would it make any difference which car either me or my neighbor drive?

is there one easier to drive enthusiastically, or both can be handled as equally well?

Thanks Jason for the short! Looking forward to a beautiful Friday!

Not to add anymore pressure on you, but hopefully you guys can give us a review of each of the configuration below:

328i MT
328i AT
335i MT
& 335i AT

Can't wait for Friday!

Nice, did anyone else notice more understeer on 335 versus 328? Wonder what the weight differential is in the front end...

Ahh very cool- I like the gearing on the 328i with a short rear end and a taller 6th gear- like GM has been doing since they put a 6 speed in the Corvette 20 plus years ago.

Maybe if they did that with the e90 M3 it wouldn't be such a slob on gas and I could convince myself once and for all to buy a nice used one

335 sounds just so much better. 328 sounds kind of like it lacks refinement. Thats ok though, my next car is going to be an M4 upon graduation.

How's that for a couple of test drives? Bill and Joey are class acts and super drivers - what a thrill it would be to ride shotgun with them!
