Mont Blanc Tunnel

Anyone have any advise driving through the Mont Blanc Tunnel? Is it worth making a destination of it and paying the 41 euro?

In your shoes I'd forego paying to be in a tunnel for 12 minutes without a view of the majesty of the king of the alps and instead drive "top-down" up the Grand St. Bernard Pass and take it all in. Of the 22+ passes I did on my 2008 ED, it was my favorite

Yes, it will take quite a bit longer to traverse the mountains, but if the weather cooperates, I can assure you it will be worth while. See picture below
