Adrian Avilla in Atlanta is who I used for my order. He's great as well. If you're putting a build in, then who cares what state the dealer is in. Steve is basically the west coast equivalent of Adrian though so I imagine they're fairly close. Great customer service.

Did you have any luck with Robt Grass at Valencia? By the way, you should not figure on any "money down" or any kind of down payment on a lease. I think I've seen that in some of your posts. That is money that flies out the door. All it will do is reduce your monthly payment. It's not like putting money down in a loan or finance. It won't reduce the residual - - the cost of the car at the end of the lease if you want to buy it. So it is like paying rent in advance. Dealers will often slip this money down figure in on lease quotes to arrive at an attractive monthly payment. I could probably lease a new M6 for $600 a month if I was willing to put $50k down. The only money you should put up front is the "drive off fees" or "money due at signing". In CA this will be the first month's payment, plus CA use taxes, plus tags and titling. On a 435 that should be around $1300-$1400 I would think. Some dealers will also slip the bank fee (around $725-$925 depending on the dealer) into the drive off fees to further reduce the monthly payment. You have to be aware of this stuff when shopping for lease offers if you want to compare apples to apples.

Yeah i know less is better when it comes to down payments, but those low monthly payments do seem appealing. Yeah I did hear from Robert grass, the prices i mentioned earlier in this thread were from Robert Grass, still waiting on Steve Thomas.

Just got a new estimate from a family friend who has a leasing company. Blk/Blk msport 335I 12k miles a year 2,000 out of pocket. Tech package, HK audio, and cold weather. 58k price tag getting it for 1,000 over window (not really sure what that means) $600 a month including CA tax.
How does that look? |

Do an ED. You'll save money and get a trip to Europe.
ED Invoice is drastically cheaper. I went from a $700 a month payment to a $560 a month for the same loaded 335ix 12,000 with $1600 down. I went through David at Steve Thomas bmw for the Ed. |

My man....Go see Greg Poland at Pacific BMW...He's a sponsor over on the other board. The guy got me into 57,000 435i. I did ED, I pay 633 a month... I was the second car the WELT delivered.
He got my brother into a 320i for 1500 signing and 329 a month, with sport, lighting, and moonroof.... Steve Thomas was good when I called them, but they wanted me to wait. Greg caught me the first allocation. He is one of the top 25 BMW salesmen in the entire country.... Trust me, email greg... |

Or contact Jon Shafer in Santa Barbara and inquire about this 435i. I know they have had it for a while, and if you tell him I sent you, he might be able to help you out. Either way, stop wasting time with the leasing companies... |

You can always lease a demo, some dealers wont or tell you they cant because when you lease a demo they have to pay the contractual rate for the miles the car has on it. (ie someone mentioned 9000 miles x .25) therefore the more miles a car has the more expensive it is to the dealer but its vice versa to the customer. Thats why usually demos/loaners with extremely high mileage dont end up being leased.
Leasing companies are the way to go if youre getting some kind of incentive for using them. Lower price, expanded inventory without having to pay a swap fee, etc. For anything else, dealership are the way to go. Id shop a leasing company first then present those #s to a dealership, if they dont take it then im back to the leasing company. |
