Powerflex camber adjustable polybush

Has anybody tried these? LINK

Just had my alignment done on a Hunter system and the offside front has +0.06 camber compared to the nearside front (-0.32). Wonder if these would do the trick and actually allow me to get the camber adjusted as I'm aware they are fixed on the F30's.

Lots of cross camber?
What changes did you make to the car so far?

I?m considering superpro rather than powerflex because they?re one piece and that seems more resistant than the 2 piece powerflex bushings to me

interested too in feedback on noise/vibrations increase if any?

The car is completely standard apart from a remap.

I would first ask the alignment shop to shift the front crossmember to equalize the camber settings left to right.

Also, check the ride height of the front corners. If one side is sitting lower, it'll have slightly more negative camber. My car sat slightly lower on the passenger side, and I was able to reposition the strut in the steering knuckle to raise that corner of the car, equalizing the camber.

The PowerFlex bushings have 0.5* adjustment, so they should help you get the camber equalized.

It also appears that these will not fit the xDrive models. I'm leaning towards the Super Pro ones but apparently they won't fit mine either.

Anybody know if these bushes are different across the 2WD and 4WD F30's?

The OE part number is 31106786959 and interchanges with pretty much all F-series, RWD or AWD. This part would presumably do the same, since it's meant to replace it.

Powerflex has an xdrive section https://www.powerflex.co.uk/road-ser...ve-3301/1.html so presumably they would list the same parts if they were compatible

I have SuperPro caster adjustable bushes in my F31 330D - they fit fine and have noticeably improved the steering feel. The BMW OEM compliance bushes are very soft, presumably to mask the NVH of the runflats (I've been running Michelin Pilot Super Sports since I got the car a couple of years ago) and lead to very imprecise steering in my experience, especially as speed increases.

Are you running them at max caster setting?

How’s the NVH with these? I’m on pilot super sport too (or pilot alpin 4 in winter).
Any noticeable change?

Caster and camber are two different things, of course. But increased caster is a nice thing to have, too. It results in better steering self-centering and will increase dynamic camber as well.

Caster is currently 6.3 degrees, as part of a complete suspension geometry and corner-weighting set-up. I wouldn't describe the feel of the car as having more NHV - yes, aspects of the ride are firmer, but the payoff in terms of steering feel (linear; responsiveness; consistency) is what I still notice and appreciate.

So i just fitted the camber and caster bushings, for now we've been able to adjust camber left/right to match at -0,5deg, and caster to 7.5deg giving more steering feel (i believe stock is about 6.5)

Noise/vibrations : nothing to report in that area i think it's virtually unchanged.
Ride is a little more harsh, perhaps compounded by my KW coilovers that are stiff, but also well matched to these harder bushings. To make it clear I don't dislike this, it's just noticeable.

Steering feel seems much more precise, as expected and that's *really* nice.

Less compliant bushings also mean they don't tolerate steering imprecision from the driver, let's say you push hard out or a corner, they won't absorb anything for you and the front end may lose grip quicker - perhaps just my feeling, we'll see if i confirm that in coming days, it's cold out there and surface could be slippery too.

Turns out i was wrong, never been so confident in my steering actually after a more in depth half-hour of spirited driving.

If you're hesitant to pull the trigger, don't be

The stiffer bushing on a car like this will prevent the alignment angles from changing during cornering so it doesn't surprise me that you feel more confident and will probably notice that you have a bit more grip over uneven pavement. The soft factory bushings allow the wheel to move around in different directions when you go over bumps while aggressively cornering, no good for confidence or grip.

Goog point- when you think how much a slight change in the camber arm length results in massive change of toe, i get what you mean!

I'm hoping they have this with an entire bushing kit. Going to call them now.
