435i Full LED

Can those interior LED be replaced with white ones in the 2015-2016 series? I don't like the color of the OEM LED.

Do you mean the ambient lights or the leds overhead?

Ambient lighting settings in idrive should let you change the color from white to orange. Even if you don't have the setting there is almost nothing you can do, you'd have to change hardware which is not cheap and is simply not worth the cost.

Overhead lights are easily replaceable and BMW sells something called LED Interior Lights and they are white indeed but I'm not sure this is what you're looking for.

Not the ambient LED, I meant the map, and dome LED that came with the 2015-2016 models. They have a bit of yellowish look, but I want to replace them for pure white. I will post a pic later.

If it's not the ambients then you should go with Something like that

http://s787.photobucket.com/user/fdp...a/kit.jpg.html

It's the full kit, I've seen that in my friends f10 and it is really nice.
White and bright, personally I prefer the yellowish look but if white is what you're about then it should be perfect.

You can't change the F32's interior lights, as they are already built in LEDs. The only way to change them is if you change the whole overhead panel with one that fits from another BMW.

That's crazy, I can't stand that yellowish color.

We're all in the same boat. Can you post a picture of the connector of the lights you detached? I will check them out for you on my F01 and F10, if they are the same connection, then you can simply swap them and change the bulbs to white LED.

No, you can't change them since the bulbs are soldered to the IC board, unless aftermarket companies make the entire modules again...

It's possible to upgrade the interior LED's but it's very expensive.

I'll have to bite the bullet on that one and order them when they're available in the USA.

I wonder if they will ever make it outside of Japan

It's expensive because it's a complete IC board replacement, not to mention it's made in Japan

Here's some teaser pics of it

Wow thanks for the info!!

It seems that the manufacturer is Brex.

Who is the first to ask if they intend to sell outside Japan...

Physically go to Studie AG+ in Yokohama or Tokyo, Japan or it's other branches. Questionable naming sense, quality product

Seconded. But I actually only want the IC boards for the map and reading lights. I've had all my other lights replaced with hi power white LEDs already. I wish they sold just that.

May I ask where you got the other lights? I am assuming you mean the puddle lights, footwell lights, etc?

I got my puddle lights from Amazon seller KingCK, I use the ///M LED projector lights for puddles, but all those lights are the same size as the glove box and front footwells.

Footwell, Puddles, Glove box colors available at eBay white only also from BMS: http://www.ebay.com/itm/161776431994...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Trunk I got from BMS but its on eBay as well if you look: http://www.burgertuning.com/BMW_LED_trunk_lights.html

Vanity lights eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-F30-F31-...162784?vxp=mtr
