I think it looks good. I can see the differences between the f30 and they are noticeable and good.
The lower edge of the bumper is ala lci e92 m sport. The openings also look sharp. Overall, I think it is a cleaner sharper bumper than the f30, which I feel looks very "thick" down there. |

I wish they would have at least chopped the wheelbase to 108" from 110". The a5 is slightly more compact than the a4 and the 6er is much shorter wb than the 5er. This would have improved handling a little bit.

is it even worth getting a first model year 4 series? on one hand i want to be one of the first to have this car before everyone else gets it, but on the other hand what would be the point of getting it so late in the year (October?) only to have it replaced with the 2015 MY in just 6-7 months from then?
and if im correct, wont the 2015 MY be getting an updated engine? while the first MY for 2014 still uses the outdated N55? im not so sure getting the firsty MY will be the wisest decision if this is the case, even though i REALLY want to because im tired of waiting for a new car. my choices are: 1.) get the car when its first available, but regret it 7 months later when the newer better model comes out 2.) wait longer, something ive already been doing for over a year now the worst part about it though is that if i do decide to wait for the 2nd model year, by that time itll only be a shorter wait for the M4, and by then i might as well wait for THAT does anybody else feel these same frustrations? i cant be the only one ..bmw really screwed the timing on this one up |

The only shared exterior parts between the F30 and F32 are the door mirrors and door handles. Everything else is unique to the 4er .
They cannot be retrofitted to the F30 because the vehicles are different in size , track and width.

Thanks for confirming. I wonder if track and width is closer to the 3GT than the F30.

Actually, they don't. But you need to see the Coupe in real life to see that.
There is a bloodline but everything is very much a different interpretation. Proportions , stance , outline , details width are all different.

Scott, you are defending the uniqueness by providing the concept photo. Obviously that car was unique. This is still under camo but a majority of things are extremely similar in shape (maybe not proportion) compared to the F30. The headlight shape looks extremely similar. There's no denying or defending to be done; excluding perhaps the rear only, the F32 and F30 look more related and are less unique compared to one another than the E90 and E92 are.

How aggressive this car would have looked with the connected hexagon lights and LED tails. Sad that BMW has to maintain status quo and deliver the new lights to 7 series first, and then probably in next 3-4 years offer it as a hyped up option in 4 series LCI. Predictable aren't we BMW?
