I will do a DIY within the week. It's a very simple process. Do you think the drop is aggressive or the wheels or both? Thanks! |

Thanks everyone!
So here's the specs: 19x8.5 40et 235/35 19x9.5 45et 265/30 I was a little worried getting them with an offset higher then i see here but I really like the fitment, really I'm not sure if the offset is right. I bought them new off Craigslist and this is what the guy stated. I think if they poked too much more I would have to raise the car a little as the tires are slightly tucked, which i may end up doing anyway (read below). The fronts are 1/4" from the outside fender and the rears although out of alignment specs are about 1/2" from the outside of the fender measured from the top edge of the rim. The bottom edge of the rim sticks out past the fender about 1/4". The coil-overs are BC Racing type BR. It's dropped 2" and I could lower about another inch. The rear alignment is not within BMW specs in the rear. Camber is -1.9 in the rear and -.2 in the front. I may end up raising the car all around just enough to get the rears within specs of -1.4~-1.6. I have set the dampening halfway at 15 from 0~30. It rides really smooth and is not harsh or bouncy, i'm really impressed. If I drove more aggressively I would stiffen them up. The body roll that was so prevalent with the stock suspension is almost gone, would probably be completely gone if I stiffened it up more. |
