May 2013 Residuals and Money Factor?

Hey guys, does anyone know if BMW NA has released the latest money factors and residuals for May 2013 yet? When do they usually let dealers know about them?

Also, dealer has a pretty well loaded '12 335i Sedan on the lot. Would it lease better comparatively over a '13 328i? Im thinking I can get it for maybe 500 under invoice, maybe a little less.

You could probably get the '12 at a cheaper price but I don't think the residuals will be that great.

Yes they are out now. MF is .00127 and residuals stayed the same. And a lease on a '13 328 would be better than the '12 335 eventhough you could probably get a great deal on it.

The increase in residual. Have them run numbers based on both programs'

Yeah, based on running the numbers... these minor changes in MF are negligible. We're talking like ~$2/mo with all other numbers staying the same on a $53k MSRP car. For comparison, adding a $1000 incentive takes about $30/mo off of my est. payment.

Edit: Didn't notice the two different residual amounts between March/May. You'll need to run the numbers to get a true comparison since residual changes also have a big impact on monthly payment.

It seems like I can't create another thread because I have to wait 24 hours to validate.

Hopefully some of you guys can help me out here.

So I placed my wife's 335xi on order about 3 weeks ago. And I signed an order form and put deposit for 1000.

And 2 days (4/30/2013) ago my sales guys ran my credit and gave me 0.00169 for MF
It looks like he marked up this baby by 0.0004. I thought I was suppose to get base MF for this (April was at 0.00129). My score is at low to mid 700s. He insisted that MF wouldn't change and I was highly doubting this and made some research. And found out there is dealer mark up and it is "usual" for dealership to mark up 0.0004 from my MF. Subtract .00169-0.0004=0.00129. I think dealership is trying to make up some money because originally I was planning to pick up my car from California to save couple of thousands. Before I left I wanted them to price match it and dealership is now playing games it seems like.

I am calling this guy a BS about my MF set because he didn't "know" about security deposit lowers my MF as well.

I sent him an email and told him about matching my april base rate but hasn't heard from him yet. How should I go and about this?
And it looks like May MF is even lower by 0.00002....

Thank you guys for help and sorry it feels like I am thread high jacking lol

MF is "like" your interest rate.

times it by 2400

eg 0.00129x2400=3.09%

After running the numbers, the May programs actually increase my payment by $2/mo over the payment with the March program. I guess the price of the car is right there where the extra 2% residual doesn't quite offset the loss of the $1000 lease cash. Sticking with the March program deal...

No just the loyalty

Unless buying a coupe or convertible, then you get the $1500 lease/apr cash as well

It's all just a game that BMW is playing and any nice cash incentives are usually matched with lower residuals. For example, I was looking at last year's holiday incentives (Dec 2012). The incentives were $1k+ on all cars, but the residuals were much lower in the 58% range which actually makes these May numbers a lot better even though there are no cash incentives. I guess we'll see if the residuals drop back down to these levels this fall once the cash incentives presumably come back.

The deals are pretty good right about now. You can wait till July for the ultimate drive $1k rebate.. but who knows what the residuals will be

Oh man, it just keeps getting better. Just signed up for Ultimate Driving Experience at the dealer on May 30th. Lease ends May 28th, so that will bring me $750 Loyalty + $500 Turn Key + $1000 Ultimate Drive Incentive on top of the 65% residual and 0.00129 money factor. Am I missing anything? haha I may even go for a '13 335i M Sport at this point and still be within budget.

The Dealership I leased my BMW from said they got a flat rate from BMW Financial for processing the lease/paperwork?

Anyone know what that is?

Person handling lease at Dealership also said BMW packages all the leases and sells them off - though they still are paid to do the lease processing.

Called BMW FS to ask if I could prepay my $21k worth of payments now at a discount instead of them selling the lease off. They claimed they DO NOT package and sell the leases off.

Anyone know what is actually true?

The MF buy rate will be .00127 and residuals are 62% for the 528's and 60% for the 535's and 550's. That is for 15,000/yr. Add 2% if 12,000 miles and 3% for 10,000 miles per year. No credits besides $750 Loyalty Cash and have to finance through BMWFS to qualify for it. $4500 ECO credit for AH5 and 55% RV for 15k miles

They do get a flat but I believe it depends on the vehicle MSRP. You should have asked them or mentioned that up front about paying all your payments at once. You could have done the one pay lease which is exactly that
