Had my buddy wrap a small portion of my Trim last night to see how it would turn out. Think I'm gonna have him do the rest. I think it looks much better than the scaly silver with gloss black trim that it came with.

Yah, I think it looks much better! The brushed aluminum looks great in black and the subtle red adds a nice touch.

Does the hexagon pattern texture come through the film?

Not at all. I was told if I did a solid glass film, then it might. But with mine you can't see or feel the hexagon texture.

I used this on my E92 interior. Looked great. I'll see if I can dig up a pic.

Looks fantastic. BMW should offer this instead of 7 different types of silver with shitty patterns.

I saw this post and it convinced me to pick up a sheet of wrap from eBay.

The one I got was BR212 by 3M it's pretty similar to what is posted here.

Wow, that looks fantastic.

Man, I'm OCD, but I was very impressed with those detail shots around the iDrive module. Great job.

What is the material?

Thanks, guys! Getting the rest done tonight. I'll let you know what brand tonight or tomorrow. It looks amazing in daylight. Nice and reflective, but not distractingly so. I'd venture to say that it "glistens" in the daylight.

Question... How did your buddy wrap the portion with the vent?

Seems like there isn't much clearance to wrap the material under the original trim it's very tight against the red trim.
