Thanks. And F30 applies to any 3-series? 328, 335, M3? And these earlier 2012's like mine simply retain the current E?

Here's an overview:

F30: 3 series sedan
F31: 3 series touring (maybe not coming to US)
F32: 4 series coupe
F33: 4 series convertible

F80: M3 sedan
F82: M4 coupe
F83: M4 convertible

Best regards,
south

And so a pre-February 2012 335is convertible is technically still an E93 and ordering accessories and mods for an 2011 E93 should still apply to me?

All the convertibles for 2012 will be E93...they are not changing the body style to "F" until 2013. 99% sure.

If ordering the modern line, is the dash and steering wheel going to be brown even if you order the black seats?

If ordering the sport line, will the red stitching be replaced with the trim color from the seats if different? It would look weird to have black seats with gray trim and then a red stitching on the steering wheel.

Thanks!

Why are the lines (Sport, Modern, Luxury) cheaper for 335i than they are for the 328i?

When will the pricing on the M-sport be announced? Any guesses what that price might be?

What does the Sport transmission offer over the regular automatic, besides paddles?

Either some things are standard on the 335 that are not on the 328 or BMW has some really smart pricing guys.

Msport will probably be 4K on top of base.

Sport transmission will shift quicker.

What things are standard on the 335 that are not on the 328, regarding the Sport Line? I don't see anything in the description of the line to indicate that.

I think 4k will be too much for the M-sport. On other BMW models is more like 3k.

Any documented proof that the Sport auto shifts quicker than the standard auto?

I do not see any differences listed between 328i and 335i Sport Line.

M-Sport package is/was $3,750 for E90 sedan.

I could see $1K for the body pieces as that's roughly the differences between F10 Sport and M-Sport pricing for 2012. (F10 M-Sport package is now purely cosmetic.)

My guess is that F30 M-Sport package for the US will include the Adaptive M-Sport suspension as standard and that will justify BMW to price at ~$2K premium over the Sport Line. As on the F10, I bet we will not have the option of the passive M-Sport suspension in the US.

Does anyone know if one switches to the "white" interior illumination, what exactly this will affect? More importantly, does it switch the A/C LCD display to some matching color? Or are we stuck with white speedo/tach and red/amber A/C lcd?

I hope they're consistent...

I'm hoping you are incorrect. This photo seems to represent the new 3 series (at least in my opinion due to the placement of the nav screen...) which has a white dash display!

Did I read right?
M-sport package brakes of 4-pot fixed piston calipers front and 2-pot fixed piston calipers rear are available on both 335i/xi and 328i/xi?!

*Edit*
Does anyone know if Msport package will be available for the 328i/xi? I know we haven't in the past.

Here's a question - in addition to the disgusting yellow reflectors on the US front bumper, will the front license plate adapter be permanently affixed to the bumper?

See these pics for an example of the license plate mount : http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=622769

I hate to say, but it looks even worse on M-Sport.
Member okolisr found you could edit the URL from the wallpaper produced by the visualizer to reflect the US model.
http://www.f30post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=222

Re-posting the GIF I made for that thread that shows Sport and M-Sport front bumper differences. The Sport matches the images from the shoot.
