I'm not feeling the Premium Package at $2,200. I hate the way lumbar supports feel, I can stream Sirius from my phone, and I can do without comfort access.

I've had a few rental cars with rear-view cameras, and I can say that once you've had one of those it's hard to go back. They are very effective. So I'm in on the $1900 Driver Assistance package.

The jury is out on the technology package. $3100 is a buttload of dough. I'm happy with the navigation capability on my iPhone, and all the other stuff in that package seems to be toys I would not miss if they weren't there. I might miss the larger display screen, though - but is it worth $3000?

I'm glad there's a tan leather option with M-Sport. I wish they offered Saddle Brown.

I'd be more open to just using my phone or a Garmin if the car didn't come with a screen whether you get Navigation. I don't want a screen AND a little Garmin on my dashboard. It's not that I can't handle multiple screens, it's that I hate how redundant it looks and feels.

I see. Interesting. I said that because on all other models, you can get the cold weather package without getting premium package. My thought was that you can get the cold weather package with leatherette which doesn't require the premium package. Always thought those were mutually exclusive since you can actually select cold weather package without selecting premium package on all other models of BMW.

I guess I'm wrong.

You can get them both. You have to select Premium first, then Cold Weather.

I don't know, with the ACC it ends up being $65,000 on the 335i xDrive.

That pricing is ridiculous for a 3 series, especially that M-Sport.

Holy crap, did anyone else notice the price of the hybrid? 50,000 BASE price. And they're still estimating 5.6 seconds to 60 and 36 mpg. Wake up BMW. Give us the newest 35d engine in the F30, and you'll be able to price it at 40,000 and it'll be faster and more fuel efficient.

There are many glitches on bmwusa config, but you can always go back to Official 2013 F30 Order/Price guides.

I wish car companies would realize that the cost/benefit ratio is not all that good. For that price you'd pay the car off before you realize any savings from getting a hybrid. Make a hybrid for a lower cost than the base model and you have yourself a car that will actually give some returns on cost. Unless the car will provide free gas or 100mpg, there's no point.

Cofigurator needs some work. I keep trying to build an M Sport and keep getting switched back to a Modern line whenever I play around with the selections on the interior..

+1 Even diesels don't make much sense anymore. There were a few threads here comparing F30 328 vs E90 335d in that regard.

It would have been nice if BMW offered Estoril blue seats to match that blue stripe in the M Sport package.

Garmin? Back in my day, you drove down about half a block until you saw a Torino with no wheels on it. Inside that Torino was Cousin Jackie and you told him that you were lost and he made sure you got to where you were going. And if you saw the sign where it said "Rib Tips," F-it you didn't want to go that way.

Simple fix for those pissed about the nav change: download Waze on iPhone and try not to waste anymore money on in-car navigation.

Agree. One issue with diesel is that it's a separate product from gasoline, subject to its own price manipulation by the oil companies. While the trucking industry surely represents 99.9% of the demand for diesel, I always wonder if the oil companies are monkeying around with diesel prices to just barely fit within the value proposition.

The whole point of choosing a turbodiesel is the ability to get a much smaller engine which still has ample torque. Forget the 335d, I want the 320d they have in Europe. 184 horsepower, 280lb/ft and 61 British MPG which translates to around 50 US MPG. THAT would make a stellar base model in the range. And yes, the diesel should be the base model with by far the lowest MSRP.

BMW is crazy if they think a 3 series with Prius-rivaling fuel economy won't sell. The reason we haven't been buying 335ds and probably won't buy Activehybrids is because they offer barely any more miles to the gallon, come with increased ownership headaches and cost more. People here aren't dumb enough to pay more for a car and then hope to make up the difference on fuel savings, a hybrid or diesel model isn't some kind of premium product.

Back to the topic, I like what I'm seeing except I wish I could order mine with Adaptive M suspension without having to get variable steering.

just built an m-sport f30 in estoril blue (prob like everybody else on this post...) and I def think it looks better than the e90 - very good looking car.

Unfortunately a 335i msport with premium and driver's assistance (not even cold weather or technology) is ringing in at $53K. Crazy....

Go for the 328i and you could get fully loaded without cold weather for 50k + tax & license. I just checked with my sales guy in the states.

WHAT is up with all the Diesel bashing? All you 'd' haters are the exact reason why BMW is sending us over the boring Active Hybrid 3 and 5 instead of awesome cars like the new 330d or 535d.
