If u sit inside the car, push the lock button in the center of the dash to lock all doors, push it again to unlock all doors. Does that allow u to open the trunk?

+1. Standard access allows you to lock the fob in the trunk, just as if it was a mechanical key. I checked this immediately after taking delivery, and as a result made it part of my routine that the fob never comes out of my pocket.
