MPPK partial install and US Mill Works plate mount
I've installed all the physical components of the MPPK and will try to schedule the software update sometime this week. Also installed the tow hook license plate mount. Not a huge fan of offset look but it sure beats having to punch holes in the bumper. I also noticed that the OEM filter element has 2 layers to it; a pleated section and a thin foam material layer underneath. I ended up ripping off the thin felt/foam material section.

Agree it's much better than punching holes in the bumper. Haven't had any issues with mine and it pops right off when not needed.

I would have advised that you not stick your power kit plaque yet because you are going to want a new intake in about 5 days
 . Anyway, not a fan of the asymmetry of the tow hook license plate.. it kinda screams " HEY EVERYONE LOOK AT MY LICENSE PLATE!" But that out of the way, congrats.. you will love the MPPK.. not the most powerful upgrade, but a great sound and a decent power increase.

This is indicative of the quality techs they hire at stealerships nowadays. If you don't know how to properly apply vinyl film, then don't. I even printed the directions off of ASAP's website to make it easy. I'll call the service advisor tomorrow to see how he plans on correcting this.
In other news, MPPK is now fully installed and there is a noticeable bump in power.

awesome! hope they fix the m performance decals for you.. if all else fails maybe tell them to cover the cost and go to a wrap/tint place, then you know you'll be in good hands!
btw how hard was it to install the parts for mppk (minus software of course) ? |

The MPPK hardware install took all of 15 minutes; Very simple.
