From what I can see that's half the point of the Fallout games. The fact that they're SUCH an open world and you can do pretty much anything.. |

Same issue here mate, I got lazy and decided to use the console command on PC - 1000 of every material boom! Slightly cheating but saves grinding for junk!

One thing I have noticed, the companions you get a lazy feckers! Walk into a deserted house office, and wait, they find a chair and chill out. First chance they get, they park their arses. That and the minuteman dude is after my ass, bloody fudge packing survivalist! |

You can make your own adhesive, I think you need corn and a few other very simple ingredients.
And I thought I was obsessed with building! Cool base though. |

I'd be fucked without that recipe... Thanks. It's grown since then... Never thought my biggest issue would be a lack of wood... |

Found a nice way to sort of Ghouls, long distance leg shots (.50 cal silenced sniper rifle), watch them all crawling around.
Then use my very fast silenced fully tricked out 10mm pistol. I do have a problem with one settlement, I can't build anything else, there is obviously a build limit |

I died the first time I fought her, then the next time put down about 20 frag mines in the place she comes up over the hill, and boom bye bye!

Found another big monster.
A behemoth, it's in one of the towns / cities. Was on some ghoul clearing duties, walked round the corner to see the bugger. Did not hang around to see how tough it was. Lobbed 3xMirvs at it, nuke frenzy lol. Now level 44. |

Are all power armours the same, or do you get stronger ones? Haven't found any others yet.
P.s How are you level 44?! I thought I was doing some serious grind and I'm only lvl 17 |

New to this type of gaming so enjoying this thread as there doesn't appear to be any instructions or manual. Learning as I go and it wasn't until L3 that I realised that I was only wearing underwear!

Always fully recce a place first, watch where Ai sends its people. Use multiple mines , well spaced, then pull back and slot guards, machine guns, then let them run on to mines. Armour, just by chance got my X01 armour tonight, first mod was for the full sensor thing, slightly weird every character is now sort of glowing red. Makes spotting things like zombies on the ground a doddle. I do miss the random attacks by the Legion dudes though (New Vegas). |

As with most things, a trip down a back alley.
West of Custom House Tower, you need building 35 Court. It's upstairs, roof. Wear your best power armour, 2 hard case robots defend it. The area around it is quite densely packed with mutants, gunners, ghouls. If you get to the Postal house you went to far west. The full sensor mod for the helmet is pretty good, better if it was selectable. I also use the stealth boy mod, invisible when crouched and stationary. Great for close up kills with silenced fast auto pistol. Also works quite good for sneak nuke launches to clear a strong area. Has anyone started their settlements trading? If so how ??? |
