ER IC

So it appears this is the most popular IC for the F30 but I don't see much feedback on it, specifically for the n20. I have seen some for the n55.

Is there anyone with the n20 that can post some feedback? I have one waiting to be delivered along with the ER chargepipe. I got the polished pipe and the brushed IC.

From what I udnerstand, itīs not an easy fit like say the Wagner IC, and is a lot heavier aswell. But at a much better price and I think it will be an improvement despite this. Based on my own thoughts...

I've read it to be about 27lbs. and the stock to be only 8lbs, this is a pretty significant difference.

I haven't read anything about fitment. The instructions I have read make it seem like an easy install, i guess I will see.

I got a sweet deal ordering the IC and CP directly from ER for their "doorbuster" deal.

The Wagner Performance weighs 19.5 pound. The Wagner competition weighs Approx 15 pounds. Stock intercooler weighs nothing because it's very thin and has plastic end tanks. I have yet to see what the ER competition n26 intercooler weighs. I too have one ordered and hope to install this weekend. I will weigh both and post the install. Supposedly, it's super easy undoing 2 screws and the hose clips plus removal of the belly pan and does not require any cutting or mods...we shall see shortly...it was toooooo good a deal to pass up

I had a post comparing all these IC, ER ended up on top how it holds up for the heat soak and with their dyno chart it's the one to go !!

Hey guys. Can someone tell me what the benefit of the charge pipe is. I read it can handle more pressure if you are running higher boost.

Are there performance gains?

I think it reduces lag & increases throttle response.

That is definitely worth it if there is a noticeable difference.

A quick question guys I am not using anymore than map 1 so would I need the charge pipe or I would get the TBS (throttle body spacer by AFE) I know they are two different things but I need to know which is worth it, as we have here low octane fuel and I guessed the TBS would be useful in this situation.

I never understood the theory behind TBS's. The turbo side of the IC piping is so short that I dont think it creates a concern, maybe this is why ER didnt design this pipe.

My pipe is scheduled for delivery on Friday, I opted for the polished. Throughout the week i will be polishing the IC as I didnt opt for this from ER.

well I heard that ER is working on Turbo side which will be @ same price of charge pipe so if it's too short and they are making it, I think it will be beneficial as well. I need your opinion on the IC when you install it.

We always encourage customer to write product reviews for this reason.
ER FMIC is the most popular intercooler for the F Chassis, highest quality one in my opinion.
We sold a lot of these during Black Friday, lots of positive feedback but no forum review

I'll be sure to give a review after installation

I shouldn't even have to comment on the quality and finish of ER products. I've bought 3 items (i physically have 2 of them) from ER and they all have excellent craftsmanship and quality in them!

I decided to give polishing a try. I have never polished raw aluminum before. I have only done the front portion as this is the only part you will see when it's mounted, plus I also have the base bumper so I wanted it to be that much more noticeable (if any really). Overall I think it turned out great, pics really don't do it justice. I used 4 different rouges to get the current finish. I may end up doing the whole thing just for the fun of it

Anyone know why some pics rotate when uploaded?
