I've finally decided to get 35% on my sapphire metallic F30. I like the way 35% looks and I've read that its a pretty safe tint that shouldn't be much of a problem with cops. I live in PA and the legal limit is 70%. On the forums, I've noticed that some people chose to get their windshield tinted and some people do not. If I were to get the windshield tinted, I would probably do 70%. Does anyone have any advice on windshield tint?

I have alpine white f30 in Florida with 35% all the way around including the windshield. I used to have 5% without the windshield on my e90.

I love having 35% on the windshield. 1 ticket in the last two years for the front windshield.

The stock glass on mine is 73%, according to the manufacturer markings on the glass. Cops tend to be less concerned than they used to be. SUVs and minivans can run anything so long as it's factory, so they're used to seeing 20% all the time. But if one decides to be a dick about it you could get ticketed.
