THe scan has the lines at 2100 and 1400 switched vs the initial HTML post... which is right? I think you guys should double-check as there are a few discrepancies!

Fixed, thank you.

The scans are correct. Where there's discrepancies, please go with the scan.

Please let us know if anyone comes across any other inconsistent info.

well firstly i am waiting for the m-sport line which comes with passive m-sport suspension (firmed and 10mm lower than regular sport).

... but for you to know - there is a distinguished difference between the sport line standard suspension and the ADAPTIVE m-sport suspension. the adaptive suspension (which is an option on the sport line) is apparently a bit softer due to the needed flexibility of the springs and dampers to accommodate all modes. Personally, I like a more firm ride, basically as close to an M3 as i can get ... so in consulting with some others here it appears if you want a more firm ride with more feedback from the street to ur ass, do not go with the adaptive susp option.

Just the sport line ... BMW's creative way of minimizing single item customization, yet making the consumer think they are truly customizing their car further. This allows for greater profit for BMW because it relies on less interchangeable parts/design. Its really quite crafty.

Prices aren't too bad at all! Much better in my opinion than the E90. The only thing Im disappointed in is small amount of leather choices.

Thanks, yea, i like a tight sporty ride all the time, so it sounds like the regular sport suspension is the way to go for me...now just need to decide about this variable ratio steering option. Not knowing how the new F30 standard steering will be, i have no clue to go for the relatively cheap option or not...all the red test cars had this option and there was mostly positive feedback about the steering.

Hm. I guess in absolute terms what you're saying might be valid, but in terms of individual perspective, it might be a bit trickier.

- The USB/iPod was a ($300?) option, fair enough - but then again, almost EVERY CAR offers it now, so it wouldn't be reasonable for them not to offer it.
- The iDrive isn't a useful standard feature as it offers no Nav (and, I am assuming, no ConnectedDrive/apps/etc), hence it's just a pretty screen with some car settings.
- 6AT was a $1,500 or so option, so rather than thinking of it as "thrown in for free" it's probably better to think "the MT people are getting ripped off, as it's $0 to go down to MT". And paddles are STILL $500 for some reason!! The Mini Cooper includes them for free with 6AT now, so what gives?
- The value of auto start/stop is to be determined, guess we'll see how consumption changes. I'm not even sure I'd want that.
- DDC modes - not sure what those are, so can't comment.
- brake energy regeneration - cool, but the usefulness to be determined? Might be a good option, I suppose, I'll keep an open mind.
- 1" standard wheel increase - maybe a good thing, maybe a bad thing, depending on your position - I use the OEM wheels for winter, so that's actually a bad thing for me as winter rubber will cost more plus, I put aftermarket wheels right away anyhow, so it's a bit of a non-issue.

BTW - first table is wrong. Nav (ZTP) option is $2,550.

I guess I didn't read closely enough before, because I was under the impression that you could order any combination of options you liked outside of the lines. The lines in my mind were more sort of an option package than anything else with exclusive tires and trim color pieces. So If I wanted an MSport with Saddle Brown Leather and Sport Automatic Transmission, im out of luck? I would have to compromise and either get Luxury Line and have a good looking interior, or Sport Line with its tacky red line across the dash and black leather.

Please someone tell me that I got it all wrong

You are right except that the sportline can be ordered with a black stripe or just black if I remember correctly. You can choose between grey leather or red leather or black leather as well. Unfortunately there is no way to get saddle brown leather with sport seats and a sport suspension.

Great find! This reconfirms my decision to go with mineral grey, and also it looks like that car had the high gloss tim around the windows instead of the brushed aluminum...i prefer the high gloss black. Thanks.
