I have the base model 2012 328i.
Is is possible to code in the Passenger mirror tilt in reverse?

no need to code, there is a switch on the driver's door, flip it opposite to what it is set to and when you reverse passenger side mirror will tilt

I have tried that.
My car is the base model without any packages.

How did you get on with this?

I have a model that did not come with the mirror tilt option and am wanting to code it without luck so far

I looked into retrofitting it, but price wise it's not worth it.
I just got a rear view camera from bimmer-tech.
