That is gorgeous! Really like that you did not put the black kidney grills and still have the original grills. Looks great with your car.

Very sharp F31 Got to love those 442M alloys !! And add my vote for the OEM grills !

The front licence plate would look better on-centre, but that's a personal choice.

Thank you. I wished they do too...but realistically this lil 4 banger packs enough punch for me.

Plus I am sure you are aware of the lack of wagon buyers in NA...soooo we are pretty lucky to even get an offering.

Yes, I picked up my new F31 on Friday. Fabulous car ! Driving from White Rock to Pt. Roberts, my car achieved 5.1 L/100 km or 56 mpg with its brand new engine For most of this route, I drove between 110-130 kph

It's going to be a challenge to keep the engine below 3500 rpm for the 1st 2000 kms; this car just loves to fly !!!!

Tell me about your roof box. How do you like it? Is it easy to access? Did it kill your mpg?

It was down to the INNO Shadow 15 and this Thule Hyper XL. I liked the sleek look from the INNO one but I needed the space so the Thule was the next best looking one.

After 4 months with box on, I am glad I got the Hyper XL. You can haul a lot of gear. A LOT!!! I have the box centered on the roof as you have access from both sides. The interior of the box is lit so night time access is a breeze. As to MPG...I've noticed maybe a 10% difference, if less. I have this set up on Thule Aeroblades crossbars (VERY KEY as it's low profile) and for a bigger box, this one is pretty aerodynamic. Nice thing about the box is the mounting system is 4 claws...easy one easy off.

Hope your questions are answered!

Of course.....I just posted about rack response to cncmastr, but if you are wondering about wheels and tires, here they are:

Square Setup
Niche Verona wheels 18X8 ET40
Nokian WRG3 tires 225/45R18

I've taken a gamble with having non runflats as winters, so I travel around with goop and an inflator. The offset on the wheels aren't factory spec but they sit very well and the barrel of the wheel clears the M Sport brake. I've had the WRG series for the last 8 winters....and these are true all weather tires that are M+S stamped. Being in Vancouver we don't get snow often...but I do head up to the mountains quite often and these are really the best of both worlds. If you are looking for more dedicated winters check the Nokian Hakkapeliitta series.

Thanks for the info. I am thinking of a square setup too to battle the Winter here in Toronto
