Setting up early with H&R

It's good to be back on the 20's and a new drop.

The m performance limited only comes one way. And only in black, glacier silver, Valencia orange or Laguna seca blue.

Interior is only piano black unless you separately ordered the carbon fiber/alcantara kit.

Can you recommend a GTA installer for the H&R Springs? Looking to have a set installed as well.

Your F30 looks great!

Darren from DC Motorwerx did mine. Fully confident in his work and he's a certified bmw technician. Plus his prices are fair.

Located at 371 John St. Unit 4
416-722-6268

(Bayview & john)

I'm sure there are many others on this forum that can vouch for him as well.

Was a little concerned because of the electronic adjustable shocks, but it works great!

Thanks K,

By the way, did you end up getting a new wheel setup for winter?

Do it fast. Your wheels will ALL be bent inside 1000km....speaking from experience. Your sidewall is really only about 1/2" .

Yes, I went with these...

Style 269s with Dunlop 4D's (only tires left in Canada!) Square set up 18*8.5 ET 38 and 225-45-18

And I just put in an order for some new summer rims/tires. Not sure when they will arrive...Canadian $ sucks right now!!

I really don't like the 405s (personal taste...no offence to anyone) and I've just read too much complaining about the RFT's so those need to go too.

Good call. They are evil. Just carry a compressor and some sealant. Works great. Totally different car on normal tires.

Whats the problem with RFT's?

Do you know what other size would fit? I want to put some Michelin PSS but there are none in the OEM size

BTW nice drop, I will go with H&R also later this spring, too many pothole in Montreal right now

No PSS in OEM size? What size? RFT are really harsh especially in 19". Not enough sidewall.....half of it is CEMENT! Also, if you have a flat and drive ANYWHERE on it the tire is garbage......usually its hard to tell its flat until its too late. There is a reason M3 and M5 don't come with RFT......

I know. I would never run RFT on 20s. Asking for trouble . The ride must be brutal and the potholes in GTA are everywhere. Inferior handling to 18 &19 too. Looks amazing though, especially in silver.

I swapped my rft for non-rft and the ride is so much better lol
