One of the best breakfasts I used to get was while detached down to London.

Used to finish nights and our route home took us past Smithsfield Market.

The order was 4 big breakfasts (they where fucking huge) and I think with beers or we went to pub near by.

This was in 80's and 90's so likely different these days.

Morning after pizza makes for a nice snack as well.

Although if have to cook.

Then it's stocking up at local butchers (rural butchers are great).

They make their own sausages, have some great bacon, make their own black pudding.

Also partial to nice bit of white pudding with the black
We should all be tucking into black pudding as apparently it's the new super food this year

Don't ask me why I just remember hearing something about it on the radio a few weeks back

It is only recently I learned what a barm is.

I assume you're from north of England?

Black pudding is the bomb. Love that stuff, although my old man eats it cold straight from fridge, which I think is a touch savage

Bacon and fresh white bread with shed load of HP. Add hash browns if feeling hungry and a couple of fried eggs and wham (not George Michael )

You know I guite like a bit of pig especially the pulled variety

But black pudding

Just couldn't do it. Keep thinking of it like a giant scab !!

Mind said that about haggis until I tried it

And what the hell is a white pudding

Anyway my philosophy is if you can't eat it with custard or ice cream it's not a pudding.
