Should be OK, but these are right on the edge...

Front OAD = 25.48"
Rear OAD = 25.23"

Percent Difference = = 0.985999% difference

BMW states no more than 1% difference between front & rear OAD to keep AWD system happy

Better combo would be:

225/35-19 (25.2" OAD)Front & 265/30-19 (25.23" OAD) Rear for a 0.118977% difference

Instead of those sizes I would go either 235/40/19 and 265/35/19

or

245/35/19 and 275/30/19

I know what the 'experts' are going to say, the rolling diameter difference is too much. I run this setup and I know of others who do as well with no problems. This is fairly close to the OEM size difference (front wheel+tire slightly larger than the rear in terms of diameter) so it is fine to use these sizes on x-drive.

If you go to the Tirerack website, choose the tires you want to get, then go to the specifications table - it will show you recommended wheel width range for specific tire sizes, and the width used to yield the OA width listed in the spec table...

Actually, I run Mich PS A/S 3+ 245/35-19 Fronts (25.8" dia) & 275/30-19 Rears (25.6" dia) on 19x8.5 ET35 front wheels & 19x9.5 ET35 Rears for my summer setup

Tires fit the rims well with no stretch, offset + tire width puts them flush to the fenders with no spacers

Here are some charts for ix fitment:

I run this on 8.5/9.5 wheels and fitment is perfect

http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=685033

factory tire diameter specs for F30, 31, 32, 33, 36 is approx. 26" (F34 is 27")

225/45, 255/40 for staggered 18's, 225/40, 255/35 for 19's

for x-drives a typical 18" set up would be 235/45/18, 265/40/18 on 18x8.5 +35ish, 18x9.5 +40ish. 26.3"/26.3"

for 19", 235/40/19, 265/35/19 on 19x8.5 +35ish, 19x9.5 +40ish, 26.4"/26.3"

I am also looking for feedback on 19in or 20in wheels for my xdrive.

What is recommended for offset at each one? Sorry I just bought a bmw for the first time again in 15yrs.

Looking at Forgestar F14 Super Deep Concave Monoblock Wheel. Any input and pics would be great. I do not plan to lower the car right off the bat.

So for 2017 f31 wagon xdrive. The 235/45/18 and 265/40/18 would work no problem? No rubbing issues?

Did you buy your car used? I didn't think the F30 came with 225/40-18, I thought they were all 225/45-18. It honestly sounds like the wrong size. The 40 profile was for the E90's.

225/40/19, 255/35/19 are the stock tire sizes at least for my f32.

Here are all the % using 225/45/18 as the base tire. I wouldn't go more than+/- 1%

SIZE------ Diameter-----%
235-35-19 25.476 -1.9%
245-45-17 25.681 -1.1%
245-40-18 25.717 -1.0%
245-35-19 25.752 -0.8%
225-50-17 25.858 -0.4%
225-45-18 25.972 0.0%
255-35-19 26.028 0.2%
255-40-18 26.031 0.2%
