anybody get the dinan tune/exhaust for their F30?

Just curious as to who has done one or the other or both out there and what your thoughts are. New to the BMW family. Just picked up a 2014, white 335i.
MSport, tech, premium, driver assistant, 6MT and heated seats. Oddly enough, the HK system was left out but I can live without it.

Got the tune and exhaust and I like the smooth power it provides.

I have everything on the way. Hopefully by next week. About how long did it take for the install for both?

I've had the exhaust for 2+ months now and I absolutely love it. My car is currently at my dealers getting the tune installed. They ran into some programming issues and my car has been there for about 48 hours now. They say it should be done today though.

That's the usual amount of time as they are uploading software into the vehicle

No, you are mistaken. There is nothing they upload into the vehicle. It's a piggyback control module which is a simple plug-n-play installation.

Hmm I was told by the service advisor that during the installation Dinan had just updated the software to reflect the higher torque figures and the DTronics module that they had in stock needed to be updated. I also noticed the heavier feeling steering wheel after I picked up my car which I rather have

In that case, sure...if they had to update the firmware in the control box, that's different. Even then, updating the firmware shouldn't take longer than 10-15 minutes at the absolute most, and it's still not something you should have been billed labor hours for.

And no, it does not effect steering.

They had to overnight them some part and that got it to work. I've had the car for about 2 days now but haven't had time to really push her. The car definitely feels faster now and you definitely notice the difference in torque. Also, the exhaust sounds a bit deeper after the tune. I am pretty busy right now but am hoping to get it on a dyno within a couple of weeks.
