And how do you remove it? mine hangs from one side from getting snagged on something, and when I turn the screw it just keeps turning but doesnt come out??? Its on the top of the trunk area in between the two release levers for folding the rear seats... |

That holds the tunk liner in the up position. I.E., when you lift up the liner to access the storage compartments underneath, that piece keeps the liner in place so you don't have to use one hand to hold it up.

I would just buy a new one. I bet it's $10 at the dealer parts desk.
Or just live without it. How often do you have to access that storage compartment anyway? |

Generally those will pop out but not necessarily back in. A mini pry bar or interior tool and pulling it straight out should help.

I had the same exactly problem with mine. I was throwing stuff in my trunk and something snagged it and bent it just like this. I ended up just snapping off that piece as it was purely decorative. But now it doesn't hold up my trunk floor door very well. I too would like to know what the replacement part is.
