Eco-Pro Gauge/Display?

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Just out of curiosity, is the eco-pro gauge specific to each tank of gas or over the lifetime of the vehicle?

It's only been a week of driving and I've "saved" 13 miles so far (half tank of gas so far). In the grand scheme of things, that's going to add up to >10% of gas savings, assuming I get about 350miles/tank

Also, does anybody else find it nearly impossible to be soft during the break-in period? I can't wait to let loose on some twisties. And I'm so in love with this car

I totally agree with this statement. It's so hard to hold back and not go into "Autobahn" mode whenever I'm on the highway and see a long straightaway road. I have even found myself going 80mph when I was thinking that I was cruisin' at 65mph or so (although I should have known since I was passing multiple cars in the 'slow' lane ). But then luckily the HUD keeps me in check. This is our family's first Bimmer and I'm amazed how this car can really register speed effortlessly. I'm only speaking from my own experience, but I have not experienced any turbo lag whatsoever in Sport Mode. And like you, we are still in love with our Bimmer as well....

Yeah seriously, as if I'm going to stay under 4500 rpm in a brand new 335i.

It's specific to the tank. I noticed that it automatically reset itself when i filled up my F30 335i.
