I had one for a year. Great car , Great engine. Gearbox not so good. It's typical BMW with a notchy slightly agricultural action to it. I ended up fitting a SSK. Which helped no end.

I fitted some side skirts to mine

Had one, went well but check actuators have been done or they don't rattle at all or it's a big bill. Mine were done under warrenty & iirc, 2.5K (they are fitted to turbos & only can be changed as a complete unit.

Changed my knob (oo err mrs) for a 330 clubsport one & that improved the throw no end.
That & ditched the RF's as they were shite although modern ones are lots better (this was 5/6 years ago)

I had 2, coupe and convertible. The convertible was fitted with the SSK, MPE and JB+. Bloody rapid little thing that sounded great.

MPE was my best mod but I loved the SSK.

My HPFP failed on my convertible and that was a common problem. It's the only issue I had though.

It's got the added benefit of hydraulic steering unlike the M135i.
